One of
Bob Newhart's Infinite Number of Monkeys,
The monkey in charge has published a hundred short stories and a thousand pictures on his personal websites as listed below. After seven years in the U.S. Navy, graduate school, three years at the University of Missouri Medical Center, and 27 years on the faculty at the University of Georgia, he retired from teaching graduate students in the Rehabilitation Counselor Training Program. He took up home restoration, golf, travel, and relocation to Florida. There he continues golf, travel, website building, and photography. This site is a collection of the incredible experiences we all share as adults on the funny farm. Like all monkeys, this particular monkey is always looking for a fresh, new project, although these pages, like the site name suggests, are somewhat incredibly all true stories. |
Sites by the same monkey:
| 1 | http://bobandlois.net | The original website with stories and photo albums |
| 2 | http://kidsshortstories.net | A selection of the author's personal highlights while surviving, enduring and enhancing childhood |
| 3 | http://navystories.net | The first great career, seven years in college and at sea running the Navy's vast supply business |
| 4 | http://trueshortstories.net | Stories from the funny farm featuring the adults' perverse and perplexing carryings-on |
| 5 | http://spectacularscenery.com | A fun display of over 600 photos from somewhere in the world by category |
| 6 | http://baracksgoose.com | A critique of America's first half-black president |
| 7 | http://obamasgoose.com | I couldn't resist buying this domain name, Barack's black clone |
| 8 | http://monkeytales.net | A legitimate blogging site with mostly fresh new stories from the Monkey. |
| 9 | http://oldmonkeytales.com | A collection of scholarly, research, and opinion papers on education, and selected societal dysfunctions. |
| 10 | http://liberalletters.com | The quote, discussion, and an antidote for the lame thinking, or not, of classic liberals. |

Why so many personal sites, one might ask? The fact is that the original site, bobandlois.net, became so
unmanageable by its sheer size that, with advancing age and infirmity, I was
incapable of hanging all the parts together in a coordinated fashion.
I decided to acquire domains which would function independently of each other,
and get me off the hook. This grand scheme did not work as well as I
hoped, but it may be better than nothing.
With comments or rational feedback about the website or its content, please feel free to email the monkey@ site number five (5) above, or bob@ site number one (1) above. Since machines don't read, this is a foolproof way to trip-up the automatic crawlers that scan text for every email address in the world. Only humans are capable of screwing up my security system, which many will gladly do. Be my guest! Enjoy! Life is short. #$%&^*(((@!#@ %^&%^{} Newhart's Faithful Monkey |
